
Sometimes you need to have a goal to shoot for when you start a fitness program. I personally don’t like measuring progress by the scale – it lies! (More on that here: Why You Should Ignore Your Weight) Instead, measure your progress through effort. Are you working out? How about tipping yourself for each workout?! Put your “tips” in a jar that you save for a special reward: New workout clothes, a mani/pedi, or a new Personal Development book. You can even include a photo of your reward item in your jar.




I had the opportunity to sample the newest Shakeology flavor, Cafe Latte, at the Beachbody New Leader Conference last week. I loved it! This is perfect for all of you that love the flavored coffees at Starbucks. It’s got all the Frappucino goodness, but with none of the guilt.



Hey all you friends out there, if you have not realized your potential, know that you CAN. I, for one, believe in you! I’m a firm believer that everyone was put on this earth to do great things. Unfortunately, sometimes things get in the way. Circumstances can make it harder for you, for sure — but don’t let that be your excuse.
