80 Day Obsession is the extreme body sculpting program by Supertrainer Autumn Calabrese that was released in January, 2018. It’s designed to sculpt a lean body – booty, core and arms – through targeted workouts and a timed nutrition program. The program lasts 80 days, as the name implies – and each day is a separate workout you access through Beachbody on Demand.
What kind of results can I expect to get with 80 Day Obsession?
This is always a common question I get when someone embarks upon a new fitness program. The answer is almost always, “it depends”. First of all, let me say the 80 Day Obsession test group before and after photos from the test group have been nothing short of AMAZING. Really, it’s going to be a program that will help so many get the results they are looking for. That said, here’s the caveat: 80% of your results will come down to how closely you follow the nutrition portion of the program, not the workouts. And, for most people that’s the hardest part. Changing what you eat, when you eat, and your portion sizes is NOT easy. It’s a lot more difficult than simply carving out an extra 45-50 minutes to work out each day. Committing to the 80 Day Obsession Meal Plan means planning ahead, trying foods you may not be used to eating a lot, and giving up some of your favorite things. Also, no booze (sorry to break it to you!). However, if you’re willing to commit to the process, you WILL have amazing results like the ones you see below.
Another factor is your CURRENT fitness level. For example, if you’re already a die-hard gym rat with amazing eating habits, your results may reflect that of more of a maintenance plan than someone who is drastically changing. Keep that in mind. Generally the more out of shape you are, and the more improvements you make with your eating the greater your visible results.
Also, this time there is also an 80 Day Obsession TIMED NUTRITION component. That means it’s not just simply eating healthy foods in the right proportions that will get you your results, it’s combining the appropriate macronutrients at the right time of day, before and after your workouts, that will help you succeed. The timed nutrition element will help you fuel your workouts and help speed healing to muscle fibers that get torn down during the workouts.

Help, I’m Not Seeing Results with 80 Day Obsession!
If you’re doing the 80 Day Obsession workout and nutrition plan and not seeing results, there could be a few reasons.
You are not following the nutrition plan to a T. A big part of this program is the timed nutrition component. The nutrition program was designed to fuel your body with the nutrients it needs, at just the right time, to build lean muscle and shred fat. If you’re not seeing weight loss or muscle gains (whatever your goal is) you need to really ask yourself how diligently you’re actually following the nutrition plan.
You are not in the right bracket. You’ll need to compute your container bracket before you start 80 Day Obsession, then again after each phase. As you lose weight, you could easily drop down a bracket because your caloric needs will change. If you forget to do this, or are unaware that you need to, you could see your weight loss stall or even see weight gain.
You are in the building phase. Phase Two was designed to build muscle, and in order to do that you’ll need to make sure you get enough calories. Often, this is the phase in which weight loss slows or stops, but no worries – it will pick up again in Phase Three, the “Shred” phase. Then, at the end of the program in “Peak Week” it all comes together and the lean muscle you worked so hard to build will be revealed.
