My first Jillian Michaels DVD was the 30-Day Shred. I bought it in 2011 and it sat, unopened, in my DVD collection for two years! Last November, I finally ripped it open and actually DID the workout. I thought it made a big difference in my core muscle tone, especially abs (here is my before and after shot). So, when I heard that she was coming out with a new One-Week Shred Video I knew I’d be getting it and following along. I started a One-Week Shred Challenge Group over at Mommysavers.com for encouragement and support. The strength portion of the video is definitely my favorite. I am finding that it’s really hard to squeeze in 30 minutes of strength as well as 30 minutes of cardio each day. My life just doesn’t allow for that kind of routine. However, if I had a big event or special occasion I was trying to get in kick-ass shape for, I’d definitely bring it out again.
