Quick ways to burn holiday calories

 

 

True, the quickest way to burn a lot of holiday calories is pictured above.  However, if you really want to torch calories here are some quick-and-easy ideas that don’t require a lot of equipment or heading to the gym.

  1. Run 7 minutes at 7.5-8.0 mph
  2. Jump rope for 9 minutes
  3. Alternate burpees and planking for 9 minutes
  4. Jog 9 minutes at 6 mph
  5. Shovel snow for 15 minutes
  6. Lift weights for 15 minutes
  7. Climb stairs for 15 minutes
  8. Vacuum for 30 minutes
  9. Dance for 20 minutes
  10. Spend 40 minutes in the kitchen cooking (no snitching!)
