This is how BUSY people work out… Get in, get out, get RESULTS! What I am MOST looking forward to with LIIFT 4 is that it is the perfect complementary program to my running schedule. I can do BOTH and get amazing results. Plus, this program is only going to HELP me become a better, faster runner. So, let’s cover the basics about it:
About LIIFT 4 Creator Joel Freeman
You know celebrity trainer Joel Freeman from programs like Les Mills’ PUMP, Core de Force, and his BOD Exclusives. Joel is committed to helping people live healthy lives and has over 15+ years working on practical fitness solutions for real-life people.
Joel’s passion for helping people reach their fitness potential began during his time at Texas Tech University where he began working at a local gym. While he worked various positions within the gym, Joel always found himself motivated by one thing: making a personal impact on people’s lives and seeing that it doesn’t always have to be difficult to make necessary changes.
While living in Olympia, WA in 2004, Joel began teaching group fitness classes and helped establish some of the largest group exercise class participation numbers throughout the Unites States. Simultaneously, Joel managed a local gym, then spent four years working for the Washington State Department of Health and assisted in establishing a corporate wellness program while there. Joel’s relationship with Beachbody kindled in 2005 when he joined the Elite Trainer team for the collaborative project, LES MILLS PUMP.
In 2012, Joel relocated to Southern California as the new Group Exercise Director for the iconic Gold’s Gym SoCal, a franchise of over a dozen Gold’s Gyms across Southern California. Touted as one of the most prestigious and successful franchises in the world, Joel transformed the Southern California’s group fitness market with new programming, the best instructors in the area and applied analytics and tracking that had never before been used in the industry.
Joel and teammate Jericho McMatthews launched CORE DE FORCE in 2017. A mixed martial-arts style home training program, CORE DE FORCE combines MMA combinations with high-intensity cardio and body-weight resistance training. Since launch, CORE DE FORCE has empowered thousands of people across the globe with increased confidence, self-empowerment, while helping them lose weight, tone their muscles and see their abs…some for first time ever!

How LIIFT 4 Works
LIIFT 4 combines weight training and high intensity cardio to allow your body to torch calories while burning fat and building muscle. The moves are based on classic lifting techniques that let you isolate, stabilize and focus each rep on the muscle group you’re working. Every workout ends with a core routine for a full body build and burn that leaves you shredded. There are no gimmicky moves, no overly complicated routines and no opportunity for boredom because you’ll never do the same workout twice. Get it DONE in just 4 days a week, about 30-40 minutes a day, 8 weeks total. On your three “off days” you can choose to do other workouts (running, recreational sports, group fitness classes… or nothing at all!)
This program is about LIVING and BALANCE. It’s about maximizing your time and truly ENJOYING the time you are working out.
LIIFT 4 Workout Schedule
What I love MOST about this program is that it is designed for REAL LIFE. Workouts are only 30 minutes long, 4 days a week. Perfect for busy moms, those that already enjoy doing other workouts, and those that become BORED easily (like me!). Each workout varies from week to week. The first 6 weeks is the BUILD phase with lifting and HIIT cardio combined workouts that are about 30 minutes long on average. The last 2 weeks is the SHRED phase where you still have the lifting component but you increase the HIIT component of the workouts, increasing the range of time to about 30-40 minutes.The program runs for 8 weeks. So, start in July and get VISIBLE results by September!
LIIFT 4 Required Equipment
All you need are a set of light, medium, and heavy weights (depending on your fitness level), or you can substitute by modifying with resistance bands (included in the intro offers). The challenge packs will come with resistance bands, which are great to bring along when you’re traveling. The screen will include a “bandifier” so you can learn how to do the moves using the band. The amount of weight you lift will depend on your current fitness level. There will be an intensifier/modifier so that ANYONE can do this program… from beginners to advanced athletes.
3 “Rest” Days with LIIFT 4
Since you’ll only be working out four days a week, you’ll get three “rest” days. Because you will be really hammering your muscles on your “on” days, the rest is needed for muscle repair and recovery. If you are someone who doesn’t want that many “off” days – that’s fine too! You can use them for active recover – running, yoga, group fitness classes – it’s all good! The LIIFT 4 planned rest days are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

LIIFT 4 Release Dates
- June 11th is when customers will be able to purchase their equipment and nutritionals for the program so they have them in time for the workouts to start in July. Those customers will immediately unlock the “B4 LIIFT 4” prep workouts and will have access to our team’s challenge group if they purchased a challenge pack
- The COACH TEST GROUP will open in “Week Zero” on July 9th.
- July 16th (VIP early access only) is when the VIPs will be able to access the actual WORKOUTS. If you’d like to apply for the COACH TEST GROUP with Joel, make sure you fill out the form below. Our team’s accountability group will be starting early July as well.
- ALL BOD customers will gain access on October 1st, 2018.

LIIFT 4 Nutrition Plan
LIIFT 4 also comes with a comprehensive nutrition program. It has some common-sense guidelines, meals designed to build muscle, lose fat, and get RESULTS. It’s built around the Beachbody Performance Line – which optimizes performance and Recover. Each week there is a CHEAT DAY too. 🙂 Treats are built in, so it creates the mindset of food freedom and no restrictions. If you want to enjoy a cocktail… do it! If you want to enjoy a date night or mom’s night out, you CAN. It’s truly a LIFESTYLE program that creates balance and can be sustained long-term.
