LIIFT 4 Results: My Before and After Photos
THIS IS 47. It’s hard when you’re “that age” and it seems harder and harder for your body to transform, for it to do the things you want it to do —whether that be shed unwanted pounds or build muscle. I GET IT!!! I was starting to think I’d NEVER be able to build muscle. I’’m a bit of a fitness junkie, but after nearly a year of no visible progress and doing 5-6 workouts a week, trying to time my nutrition, feeling like more of a failure than a success, I was feeling discouraged. I started to think it was MY BODY. I mean, when you’re approaching 50 that struggle is VERY real. Then this program came along and all that changed. I feel stronger than ever, and muscles I didn’t know I had are starting to POP!

I learned that sometimes LESS IS MORE. I did fewer workouts, but got BETTER results. I gave it my ALL in those 30 minute workouts. I dialed in my nutrition with our mindset-based plan on my “on” days but also allowed myself to LIVE (within limits) and enjoy all my favorite foods in moderation (read more about LIIFT 4 Nutrition). I am still following the modifier in some moves, and trusted the process and RESTED on the rest days (no additional workouts). It was VERY real-life friendly. My eight weeks also included:
