Join our “Blast Start” Group
Are you pumped up to make 2016 your BEST YEAR EVER? I am! Now, let’s add some FUEL to that fire! Push yourself more BOLDLY next week. Consider it your “Blast Start”. There are a couple reasons I recommend the “Blast Start”. When things are new and novel; they’re easier to stick to. They give momentum to your new habit. You will see results more quickly, which will motivate you to continue. Also, easing into the program after the Blast Start will seems not-quite-so-hard.
Consider Monday the start of your “Blast Start” week. By creating a meal plan and scheduling your workouts, you’ve logistically prepared for it, but you’ll need to mentally prepare too. In our group, we will be focusing on some ways to mentally get in the game:
1. Do your WHY video. What is your reason for making a change? Did you have a “Lightning Bolt” moment that motivated you to finally commit to this group?
2. Create a vision board for what you want for your year ahead.
3. Read, read, read! Gretchen Rubin cites reading Why We Get Fat as one of her lightning bolt moments for food. It’s a dry read, but has great information.
4. Get support! Be motivated by others in the group, share your own stories and learn from coaches’ tips.
I have created a mini-group for those who would like extra encouragement during the Blast Start week. This is for any of you who want to start the week with double workouts and a Shakeology mini-cleanse.
